Alive and well. Our first official dig day is this coming Thursday after the Holiday and this shit weather. Thursday 3 p.m, Channel Lock re-route effort begins.

No bullshit, just the appreciation of contributing to a trail network is all we ask. We will bring some form of cold beverages but, if we have to bribe your contribution with anything else what is the point? Like riding your bike here? Contribute, what you can… Mostly just a thank you!

RIDE TETON DIRT!

Finally got a chance to go into the woods and hunt out some dry single track last night with Troy O. We hopped into the Fishbowl van and found it somehow between a day of rain and snow showers on his top-secret training grounds somewhere near Driggs. Aspen Trail was dry.

What I really found was that my friend has a finesse on a bike that I have never seen in person from anyone I have ever hit the trail with. I always seem to be blinded by race results and the immediate thought of “stupid brutal power”… That’s good but, tonite I watched him do things on his bike that left me in disbelief… That’s how you stand on a podium.

Wow! As I said in the early post, sooner or later I was going to here about it… Cyndle just happened to claim it with world fishing famous Dawes. I was working and got “The Text”… I cracked a beer open and turned it upside down.

This kicks it off! I expect to see one of the best seasons of fishing here in the Tetons in some time. Right now the game is on with Salmon flies and a cold beverage!

Damn, Ma Nature always wins. Just when you think you have it figured out… No, you don’t. Great day and some great moments but, we are still some hours away from someone telling me “should have been there”

So, here you go today… H.F 2,450 CFS. High, bit off-color and perfect for a hatch… ? Teton, blowing out slowly… Looking like it could be over soon and fishable by early June. S. Fork… WTF? Years of nothing at this time other than spankings and now some kind of Skwala hatch that no one has heard of… Fishing well.

Had a sweet app with my Bud Light today… The drink is full but, clarity is a go! Going to be awesome with this weeks forecast!

Of course none of this would have been possible without a beautiful, awesome wife who insisted that my visiting one-eyed Father and I go out and give it a go on this day… 100%.
